Welcome to the new Wychavon Oil Engine and Preservation Society Website

About us

The Society was formed in November 1974 by a small group of people who were interested in preserving Stationary Engines.  Now there are over 100 members, of all ages.

The Society meets on the Second Thursday of each month(except July and August) at The Oak Inn, A4104, Defford, Nr Pershore, WR8 9BW .  Doors open at 7.30 p.m and the meetings commence at 8.00 p.m.  Some meetings also include a film show or talk.

The Society members have wide-ranging interests; not only are Stationary Engines collected and restored, but many members also have collections of Horticultural and Agricultural Equipment, Vintage and Classic Cars, Motorcycles, Bicycles, Tractors, Oil Lamps, Models and other memorabilia.

Exhibits are displayed at Vintage Rallies, Collectors Shows and Fund-Raising events throughout the year, giving much pleasure to the public.

If you are interested in finding out more about the Society , you are very welcome to come along to our next meeting or contact via E-mail or phone number at bottom of page.
